Hey guys
I have been lurking around here for a while now and i have some questions i have not found clear answers to in the forums. I'm about to buy a 1g DSM and i plan on it being my daily driver but i also want to be able to take it to Road Atlanta for open track days as well (also remember that this car will sit in Atlanta traffic every afternoon too). I have been looking at the different turbo that people use and i figured that i would need to get either the EVO16g, 20g or T3/T4 hybrid but i'm not sure exactly where these turbos make boost in the rpms. I want boost quickly (3000 or so) but i also want to make some serious power (+/- 400 whp). Also i don't want this car to eaily overheat at the track or sitting in traffic (15 miles in 35 minutes). Does the stock cooling system handle the job or would i need to upgrade the fans and radiator (i do plan on using a FMIC). Lastly is there anything else i need to get this car really ready for some open track events. I plan on doing the big brake upgrade, coilovers and some bushings, but what i'm really asking about is the things that I would need to change that is not common knowledge until you are out on the track. I appreciate all info and look forward to contributing on the board.

So you should be fine, if not better off, stock.
