I wanted to find out if anyone had information on this turbo... I wanted to see what I should expect see for lag time... I was told this is a 20g, I am fairly certain it is. I recognize the O2 housing being Hahn Racecrafts 1600 model and also found what looks to be an identical turbo to mine on there too.

Other mods include HKS 264/272 Cams, RC 550's, 2g intake MAF, 2g man. (DSM Turbonetics T3/T4, not yet installed), 2" - 2.5" Downpipe ~ custom exhaust (WTB 2.5" - 3" turboback for 91 AWD GSX) 255 Walbro (not yet installed but, factory rewired) Socketed Eprom. I am also looking for a decent FMIC w/piping and some type of AFC / DSM LINK. On a budget. Your opinions would be helpful here too. Thx [email protected]

So I have a great start it think but, with an Auto I have no low end so I am trying to find out what I can do to help this problem and where I can expect to see good boost from the 20g...

A guy on here named B00stedGSX used to have an auto with an 20G. He did ALOT of work to the car I would talk to him. He had the tranny built with all kinds of parts built for speed if anyone knows he will.

Thanks, this is a good place to start. Do you have any opinions on anything else like afc dsmlink. My goal is simply to hit and maintain a reliable 400 WHP, without constant repairs. I have a seperate block built up waiting on me to do something with it. Fresh block, Decked, bored .20 over, Ross 8.5 pistons, Eagle rods clevite bearings. Not sure what I am going to do with this yet. I am actually looking for a nice 2GB shell to put it in. Thanks for your help.

I would recommend DSMLINK if you have the money. The tuning abilitys are far superior to an SAFC, and a Logger, but so is the price. I would also suggest the building of your Auto tranny. 400 HP is alot of power. Your on the right track now just read some more and, you will be set.

I looked under the members list for Boosted as in B00 and BOO - stedGSX, the one you mention does exist but has some type of aftermarket clutch in his profile listed, so I am stuck there. Will try some more later. Thx

Then I got real carried away and pulled my valve cover shaved and polished that too... If you look real close you can still see the ghosting letters coming through at a slightly differently color. I think it is because where the metal was thicker it changed the chemical makeup of the aluminum when heat was added over a long period of time.

Here is the Link to what I did to polish it up like this. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=213471

And I havent contacted him yet, I have been doing tons of reading. I pretty much want to pass out from information overload before I bother anyone. I think I am pretty set on doing a 5spd AWD conversion at this point. I agree with you, 400+ is a lot of power. I wonder how long it'll (AT) hold up.
