I’m thinking bout doing it boys but is there anything specific I should upgrade first for the engine to with stand the turbo ?

How much boost are you going to be running? There's people that swear the stock internals will handle up to 7 pounds of boost but I've seen the ringlands give out on an N/A engine.

Most 420a people tell me that the most is 8 and that’s what they will regularly run to be on the safe side so I’m not really sure how much to run im not looking for too much power but I got money to throw at the car and going for aesthetic I guess something between fast an reliable yk

If you really want it to be reliable while boosted I'd go with some forged internals & headstuds with a tuning solution.
