2G Tuning my Car because it never got one

So I bought the car back in February. Just now knowing that it never got a tune even though it has a aftermarket turbo/cold air intake/Cooling System.

I called a tuner and he needs to know if the stock ECU is tunable on these cars because I don't know.

That's why I'm asking or do I need an aftermarket ECU?

Stock 97 is not tuneable. You need either ecmlink, a 98/99 black box ecu, or some other form of standalone.

Since you just got the car, you’ll have to pull the ecu out to see what’s in there to start with.

If that car put down 320hp it almost certainly has other parts in it. Please expand your profile with whatever you know about the car. It has more than what you list just from the pics. I see a large front mount intercooler for starters.
It will be difficult to help you if we don't have complete information. Thanks.
