ok. so i want to start moding my dsm but not to sure about tuning and everythingi was thinking dsm link cause i heard its good but whats up with widebands, gm maf blah blah blah. any advice for a newb

you should always search before asking newbie or not... you be surprice how fast you find the answer.

for widebands they help to monitor a/f rates accurately (compare to narrow band) different types for different people.

gm maf is another set up for moniter the air flow but requires tuning
and link is a type of stand alone...

search and you'll find more info.
