tuning for my car

My setup is...intake, agp rs49t, evo3 manifold and 02, rre downpipe, espelir catback, no cat, fmic w/ piping, hks bov, plugs and wires, walbro 255, fpr, boost gauge, egt gauge, act 2600, streetlite flywheel, I had a greddy spec2 ebc and turbo timer but they both just died. I have 750cc injectors. I need somehting to tune my car. I was looking at the maft pro, ecu+, or something else. I need something that will take advantage of my system but not be rediculously priced. Some input would be much appreciated.

DSMLink from what i heard is the best tuning device for DSMs next to AEM EMS but that is high priced, and from what I read on these boards hard to install and difficult to tune. DSMLink is great from what I read on these forums and their website. I will be going with DSMLink soon. You can also go with a logger and Apexi S-AFC.

dsmlink is pretty pricey after getting a eprom ecu though. an safc would not be enough to satisfy my needs i dont think. Any others?

Oh yeah I forgot you had a 99. But hey I've seen ECUs for 150-175 on ads here and dsmtrader. You can also use MAF-T to tune. My number #1 choice is DSMLink. NLTS, ANTILAG, Tuning, Great display of data, and user friendly.

I would put it in this order.

1. AEM EMS
2. DSMLink
3. S-AFC +LOGGER
4. MAF-T

But I will choose DSMLink because its userfriendly.

I would strongly recommend some sort of wide-band first.

i would go with dsmlink (maybe because it is what i have), it will compensate for the injectors better than the safc. one thing to remember is that it tunes and logs with a lot of features that you could take advantage of. and if you want the best tune...get a wb to go along with it, however, you can get real close with just the link for now.

go with dsmlink. you'll regret it later on if you don't. it's simply the best and most easy thing to tune a DSM with. and you already have an eprom ecu so your half way there.
