I see my timing adv drops to as low as 16 and climb as high as 24. I heard that the ideal timing adv is about 15 degrees. Is this true? If so what can I do reduce my timing.

Thanks

Brian

Where did you hear 15* is optimal?

The reason it drops so low in the midrange is because that's where the ECU thinks peak torque (cylinder pressure) is.

As much timing as you can run with no knock is GOOD.
