Tubular or SBR evo manifold

I have a cracked manifold on my 98 GST and need a new one. So why not upgrade, but witch is better tubular or SBR new ported evo exhasut manifold. I can get them for the same price thats the only reason I ask. Please let me know a.s.a.p with your information.

An equal length tubular manifold will be better performance wise (and in most cases, appearance as well). However, unless it is coated in a ceramic or jet black thermal coating, or heat wrap, it will not hold in the heat as well as a cast manifold and can cause your under the hood temps to jump up quite a bit.

What are your plans for the car? Tubular are sweet looking but if your just going to keep the stock turbo then dont get a tubular manifold. The SBR manifold is huge and isnt to expensive.

Thanks alot for the replies i'm going to stick with the sbr evo, seams to be what will fit me best. Its just that tubular looks so damn cool.
