I have seen a couple people selling their tubular o2 housing with dump , what is the benifit of this? And does it effect the noise of the turbo at all?

SprayinGS-T said:the dump doesn't effect the sound of the turbo but it makes a huge sound difference when you let off the gas quickly, all the excess turbo pressure "dumps" out the port...definitely gonna attract attention... as far as performance wise, I'm not sure what the advantages are besides reliving tension on your turbo and possibly increasing longevity..
