Question on tubular o2 housings....

Ok so Im trying to get all the stuff I need ordered for my rebuild and ran into a question on o2 housings. I was looking to get the EvoIII o2 housing but dont want to end up having to replace my DP and modify my thermal exhaust to fit one of the EvoIII compatible downpipes.

I started to consider a tubular o2 housing like the Megan Racing housing but have a few questions. Is there any real benefit going with one over the other as far as a tubular or the EvoIII? Also, from all I have searched and read, tubular manifolds are prone to cracking, is this also the case with tubular o2 housings? I want reliability in whichever part I go with, but performance is also important. All feedback is appreciated!

the evo3 o2 will probably cause you to put alot of torque on your DP flex section as they are designed for evo3 style DP's but going from a stock set up to a tubular on mine i was happy, and it has been on my car for going on 3-4 yrs and i haven't had any problems with cracks,leaks or anything. IMO i would go with a tubular O2, but it is up to you and your money in the end.

I've had an Ebay tubular o2 housing for sometime now and have no complaints, no cracking.

Go with the Megan. My buddy is running one on his 50 trim for two years now and not one problem he even ported his. have one on my car but have yet to get it started.

Punishment Racing mild steel tubular here and no issues after 2+ years.

I built my own, you can buy J bend piping for cheap and the flanges are not much more expensive. If you can't weld? just mark the piping on the flange and bring it to a welder. I had less than $45 bucks into mine, before adding a WG flange.
