1g eclipse hi i think the trunk cable has either snapped or is really loose. for a while its been really difficult to pull it to open now it’s completely loose and won’t open. has anyone had a similar problem and knows how to fix it.?

Check where the cable attaches to the trunk latch. Over many years the tab on the latch the cable attaches to can bend slightly and the cable has to pull farther to open the latch. Sometimes you can just bend that tab a little bit and it will restore proper operation.
