I am dropping in a 4G64 block, crank, and rods with forged Mahle pistons into my 91 TSi FWD
. With my current mods, my sponser thinks Im going to dyno around 350whp. Has anyone dropped in an actual 4G64 motor with the 4G63 head? I just want to know what to expect.
And yes, most 64 motors were SOHC, however, the 4G63 head bolt right up. The advantage is, the 64 block, rods and pistons have a bigger bore and a bigger stroke....and no more f*%#ing with the hydrolic tensioner...mine is spring loaded and works just as well!
Thanks guys
