Tru boost settings on stock gst

Just install tru boost. Just want to get some input on what kind of setting I should put in. It's kind of confusing with the set up because I'm not just raising the boost in just psi. The whole duty cycle and crack pressure is throwing me off.

I have a gizzmo ms-ibc but sounds similar. Your duty cycle is for your target boost pressure, so how much boost you want. This is something you wanna try with low settings first, then raise the number a few % and see how much it takes psi up. Do this a few times maybe go up 2% at a time writing down how much gain you get from them. This helps you get an idea of what % does what. Your crack pressure sounds like what my gain setting is. This gives you control over wastegate abit and determines how hard boost will come on. I like to have mine 5-10% lower than duty cycle, but this also depends on turbo and your over all setup. To much and you could over shoot your target boost, and not enough will build boost slow. Start with this number low also or about 10% lower than duty then go from there till things feel right. On my gizzmo I have duty cycle at 70% and gain at 68% this for me gives me 20psi and boost holds strong till redline with no spike. Hope that helps you abit and doesn't confuse you more .

That sounds alot better. It was taking forever to boost up because my wastegate was at 10 while my duty was 60 and it felt like forever from a stop but when on a roll it was amazing. I'm at 11psi with that setup but with turbo lag a little so I'm going to adjust it at lunch.
