have a 99 spyder 2.4 .. would like to know what transmission is interchangeable with the F4A23

Not sure what the question is here but to my knowledge the F4A23 came in earlier models than yours. So maybe ask a more specific question so we can help.

Eclipse FWD (1990-94)
1.8L & 2.0L ...................................... F4A22
2.0L Turbo ....................................... F4A23

So I needed 5 speed manual transmission for my GST Spyder it has a F5M3 and so I got a F5M3 transmission from a 2.4L Spyder GS, I did run into a problem unfortunately.....
The clutch and pressure plate, trans mount, clutch cylinder slave, engine mount bolts,
Starter, reverse light switch, speed sensor all fit perfectly expect the CV Axles
So I did research the 2.4L differential inside the transmission needs a 25 spline CV Axles and the GST Requires a 27 spline CV Axles, so needless to say you will need a GST CV Axles and I need 2.4 CV Axles

I'm getting mine tomorrow, ill post an update after i finish and ill see if the length makes a difference
