ok, first off, Im new to Mitsubishi altogether. However, I am having probs with my transmission. Ive had it looked at, and the guy keeps telling me its my TCM and/or my Tanny Speed Input/Output sensors. Ive checked out the output sensor, even changed it with one that was working, but didnt change anything. Here is my problem: sometimes when I am driving down the road the transmission feels like its slips out of gear down into low gear causing the engine to over-rev. I can usually get it to shift gears again if I redline the tach. However, sometimes it wont fix the problem and when I come to a stop, the car jerks hard and it feels as though the brakes lock up. The speedo works off and on, maybe once a week or every two weeks itll work for 5 minutes or so. Im thinking I might have to replace the TCM and the Input/Ouput Speed Sensors, but Im not sure if that is the problem, and dont wanna replace them if it doesnt fix the problem. Ive only had car for a month, so I havent had a lot of time to get down and dirty with it yet, so I am unaware of any other problems. Maybe someone can give me some tips. It is a 95 Eclipse GS 2.0 Non Turbo

if it still is shifting i dont think its the tcm, you should have the tcm/tcu scanned for codes or do it yourself - TCU Codes - it could tell you what is going on, or the end clutches could be worn, but im not a auto tranny wiz.

also how long has it been since the fluid & filter have been changed.

Im not sure, like I said, Ive only had car a month and Ive been working on it between work and school. thats my next project along with replacing all the gaskets in the engine. I havent scanned TCM yet, but will take it tomorrow and have them scanned. I just hope its not the clutches.
