Alright so here's the story...
1999 Eclipse (GST)
I'm leaking transmission oil in the driveway. So what did i decide to do? Put
Royal Purple in the tranny and run that. Well it's been about 4-5 months and i'm still leaking it all over in the driveway. I unscrew the drain plug and the royal purple turned into this cream colored liquid (from moisture).
I look on the top of my tranny and the breather plug is still in tact.
Mind is blown and have no idea where i'm leaking this gear oil from and how it turned into a cream color.
I've already looked at the axle seals and they are completely fine. Not leaking at all.
I'm also 100% that the oil in my driveway is gear oil because i only use royal purple for gear oil, not motor oil.
If anybody has had this problem or knows anything about it please feel free to share some knowledge! thanks.
