hey all... i reccently disconnected my battery to clean my tb (negative cable if it matters) after i disconnected it my trasmission started to act kind of odd... its an automatic... before it shifted just fine... now its shift point are kind of odd and it always wants to build up boost and GO... even when trying to grandma it and save gas

there was a van in our shop recently that had a transmission re-learn procedure... baisically you would drive it like a stick(even though automatic) and shift at certain points (manufacturers specs) you had to go through this procedure a few times and then the transmission had learned correct shifts

is there anything like that for my 95 tsi awd? if so what are the procedures and if not what else could be the problem its eating gas like i eat cake... and im a large guy:banghead::banghead:

can someone give me a link to the 2g manual? i looked at that manual just to see if it said anything and it didnt...

The GST sometimes acts funny after leaving the battery disconnected for a little bit. We then start it, let it do it's funky idle thing for a little bit, then she's good to go again. So yeah, it basically has to reset itself I guess. My GS does not do any of this after I disconnect the battery, so maybe it's a turbo thing :p
