As stated in the title of the thread my transfer case is leaking. Not badly where it leaves oil spots where I park or anything like that but there is always a small amount of oil on part of it. If your standing under the car as if you were in the drivers seat the right side of the T-case has a little bit of oil coming down that side from somewhere.

I took it to the dealership cause, well they look at it for free, and they said the the T-case was overfull, which it might have slightly been and that it was leaking from the vent on the top/side of the case. This seems like a strange explanation to me. Does such a vent exist? If it does it seems oil would leak out of it all the time or water would find it's way into the case.

Also I know it is leaking from the case and not the engine or tranny because I have Redline lightweight shockproof (improper fluid according to the dealer. haha) in it so it's green and easy to distinguish. Any ideas?

Is the dealer telling me the truth? Where do you think it could be leaking from? I really don't wanna pull it out to look it over so if anyone has had such a problem before I would appreciate the insight. Thanx
