Just put my 97 GST in the shop today for a rebuild and new clutch, dont know the extent of damage yet although hoping its not too bad no horrible symptoms yet just some noise which is expected at 147k miles. I am goin with a stock clutch one for cost and the guy at the shop recommended that.

I am thinkin about getting the Luk clutch from auto zone heard that it was decent. I have exhaust and intake but will not be racing the car just need daily driver really. Looking to sell within the next year or so.

any advice or suggestions for this whole ordeal.

cool glad to hear stock is holdin up ... nothin really happend necessarily but it was time for clutch and tranny was makin some noise in gear and a wierd noise sometimes ... so time for a rebuild before it gets too bad
