Well the title obviously explains it. I've actually got it partway on the dowels and the bolts are in halfway to make sure it doesn't fall off. Whenever I try and push the whole thing back towards the engine, it makes it about halfway on the dowels then just stops.

I'm pretty sure the splines aren't line up quite correctly, so do you guys have any tips on how to line them up so I can slide the tranny on the rest of the way? Thanks!

Yeah, I've tried the same thing. I even put both axles back in and tried turning it, but it just doesn't seem to want to budge!

1/2" Ratchet on the end of the crankshaft pulley to turn the clutch disc splines. Make sure your in neutral, otherwise it's a little hard to turn in gear.

I assume that's what your talking about anyway.

That's exactly what it needed, thanks!!! You have no idea how relieving this is! It's been up on a (rented) transmission jack for two days now!

at least it was on a tranny jack....ive never used a tranny jack the 2 times ive pulled mine and let me tell you those puppies are worth their weight in gold

I've never used a tranny jack either but getting the tranny to line back up is a B**** you just gotta put some back into it and hold it up there and wiggle it in. I got lucky it only took me 2 minutes I just held it up and sat and wiggled the shit out of it.

the best tool that i ever purchashed..especialy since i like to always use leverage to my advantage
