crank won't spin tranny hooked up

So i'm putting together my project car (95 gsx). When the engine was alone it would spin just fine. When the transmission was alone it spun by hand just fine. I put the two together and now i can't spin the crank? It's a 2g tranny on a 1g 7 bolt, but hooked up just fine....thoughts?

Sounds like something in the trans is locked up? Did u accidentally shift into gear when installing?

Naw, it's in neutral...also both are still outta the car.

Did you use the FP flywheel stud kit? If you put the pressure plate studs and put them in backward they will hit the transmission. I did that...

Just regular bolts...

Also another side question. So the slave isn't hooked up obviously, but should i be able to actuate the clutch by hand with the arm when it's all hooked together?

Turns out it was our makeshift pressure plate to flywheel bolt that was hitting the bell housing. A little bit of an angle grinder and all is well.
