I was woundering if I would be able to put a 90-92 auto tranny in a 93 and could I use a 94.

Yea, I finally got my '93 tranny mated to a '90 motor, all I needed was a different flexplate. $15 shipped from a guy ($36 from the dealer), and $20 for bolts.

If it's late enough '92 to be a 7-bolt, then you're good to go as it.

thanks for the info I'll be getting a awd tranny as soon as this one goes out

Sorry to bring this back but all I'll need to do the swap is the flex plate I don't have to get a fly wheel or anyhting

On the autos there is not flywheel. the starter turns the convertor and the flexplate is just the peice that joins the convertor to crank

I wanted to know if I could use a flex plate for a 5sp or does it have to be from an auto and are the driveshafts interchangeable on all models

OK here's the problem I just ended up gettin the wrong flex plate from chrysler I think
I think the 6 bolt flex plate has 3 prongs and the 7 bolt has 4 and I ended up gettin one with 4 and the tranny didn't bolt up
