I have a 95 GSX, and i was just wondering what components of a transmission have to be upgraded in order to rev till 8-8500 rpm? Also, how much would these parts usually cost? Thanks

Reving to that RPM level isn't the problem, shifting is 
I'd check out Shepherd Racing or Team Rip for specific transmission rebuild pricing.
I got a 1G tranny rebuilt from Shepherd for $1500 and will shift at any RPM I like
