As of last week I have completly given up. I put a new clutch in it hoping it would solve my problem. The problem is that it wont shift into gears when the cars is running. When the isn't running I can shift into every gear with out a problem. New clutch went it, started up went to put into gear and it grind to hell.

Sounds like your clutch isn't adjusted properly, adjust the rod under the dash on the clutch rod that goes into the master cylinder.

Maybe your slave cyl. is bad... Did you notice if it had been leaking out of the rod?? I would get a new slave cyl. and see how that does you... Could also be the master cylender as well... Mine had a new Master when I bought it but I think the buddy I got it from said it was starting to do the same thing..

I sent my tranny out a couple of days ago to be looked at because it seems to be the only thing i have left to check. The person looking at it said the shift fork had really bad wear like someone had beat the holy hell out of it. Also said that my synchros were shot. I hope all this works cause if not this car becomes either a donar or someone else problem.... I would noramally keep it but i dont have the money to keep doing the work.

I thank all the people that have tried to help.

i HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MINE. It looks to me like I have a bad shift Fork. So I am taking it apart this weekend and replacing the fork. I will see what happens. Let me know what happens when you change your fork.

Okay as promised I have an update for my problem. It took the parts 2 weeks to get here do to the mud slide in cali. First Tranny has no grinds  downfall wont shift because my pressure plate is jacked up and have to return for a new one.
