can anybody tell me what sensor is this?
This is a manual tranny fron an eclipse

and i am looking for a set of shift cables por my tranny, if some habe a set please tell me

that's a crappy picture to show where the sensor is located in reference to other things on the trans. I think it is the reverse light switch. I could be wrong though.
Unplug it and put your car in reverse, see if the reverse light come on or not. You only need ignition on, not car running.

the speed sensor should be just a little towards the drivers side of the sensor that you are showing us, it should have a right angle type top to it where a harness is plugged in and a single bolt that holds the unit into the tranny.
