Hey all just put in a new Jacks stage 4 transmission. I've got less than 1200 miles on the transmission. The driveline started making a noise and locking me out of gear, oddly it was an intermittent problem (I figured if something internal in the trans was broke it would stay broke). So not really knowing what to do I changed everything to do with the driveline (clutch, tob, pivot ball, fork, flywheel....literally everything in between bellhousing and block is new). Got it all back together and guess what noise is still there. So roughly 4k later (didn't cheap out on anything) I've still got a tranny that randomly locks me out of gear and intermittently makes the noise. I have a video of the car doing it if someone will tell me how to get a mp4 file posted on here or what i can convert it to to let you hear. Noise goes away with clucth pressed (thought it could be tob for this reason last time put a new mitsubishi oem one in and it was properly installed and lubricated). I can't tell you if it goes away while driving down the road, as i said it's an intermittent problem and not all the time so difficult to say if it only does it in neutral or not. I gave the tranny the benefit of the doubt as not being bad last time because its brand new and built by a reputable company so if anyone has any ideas other than send it back let me know. Thanks
update:
Turns out the bearing pre loads were incorrectly set causing my problem just in case someone stumbles across a similar issue.
