Tranny goin out?

ok i just flushed my tranny and put in royal purple syncromesh because i heard that would help it. It didnt my tranny is still really hard to shift into first gear and reverse grinds. I hope my tranny isnt goin out i dont feel like payin that much. Does anyone know what's goin on.

Clear Lake huh... That's pretty close. My 2g I used to have was always hard to get into reverse, you would have to let the clutch out a bit before it would pop in. As far as first gear I dunno what to tell you. How many miles does your car have and whatnot. Better yet later this week I am going to Mason City to hang out with some DSM friends over there you should meet up with us and we will take a look at your car for you. Don't know if you know some of them or not but always willing to help out fellow DSMs.
