Well, to start ill name my problems and things I have done.

: wont go into 1st,3rd, or 5th
: adjust master cylinder to no luck
: try putting it in gear from the trans with hand car on and clutch pressed in,no luck
: replaced slave cylinder bleed cylinder
:Replaced TOB
: Checked fork for bends, breaks and cracks, nothing there
: checked clutch for missing springs,There all there

Ok so I think the master is going out now. I replaced the slave cylinder and it helped for a weak. Now I have no 1st 3rd or 5th gear. 2nd and 4th WORK but are very hard to get in. I have watched the JACK's transmission video on clutch adjustment and it hasnt worked. I spent all day on tweaking the master rod and it didnt help any. My car is now on the side of my house, were it will be untill I figure this shit out. any help would be nice , if more info is needed just ask. Ill be happy to tell.

Thanks

P.S.

So i did a little googling. I think that you have a problem with master cylender. I would go junkyard hopping, but that is just me. Ii would also check lines, ect. Maybe wile you had it apart something got in some where.

Is the shifter loose at all? If 1/3/5 are not working and 2/4 work somewhat, it looks to be something with the cables. They do stretch over time.

Make sure all of the bolts that hold the trans to the engine are there. If they are loose, the transmission will actually get pushed off of the engine when you push in the clutch.

Have a person push the clutch, while you get under the vehicle and watch for clutch for movement. It should travel a lot.

There are only a couple hydraulic items in the clutch: master cylinder, slave cylinder, clutch line. Odds are, it is the master, but check everything else first.

Replaced master last night. Didn't help much. I can get it into all gears but they are extremely hard to get in.I'm leaning towards the pressure plate because like a dumb ass I didn't check it when I replaced the TOB. Also the trans doesn't move away from the motor and I have the 5 bolts that hold it on. There is no air in system, and the master rod is screwed out almost all the way for the most peddle travel. Now what do y'all think? Am I right?

Did you check to see if your clutch pedal assembly is worn out? Push the clutch pedal to the floor, let it return all the way up. Now, get down and look close and grab the pedal by hand and pull up. If the pedal comes up at ALL when you pull up, the assembly needs to be removed and rebuilt. Another way to check this is to remove the clevis that the master cylinder adjustment rod screws into from the pedal, push the pedal down, and if there is a lound snapping motion when you push the pedal down and pull it up, the pedal assembly is dead.
Being locked out of 1st, 3rd and 5th gears leads me to believe that your bushings in the shifter base are worn or that you need to adjust your cables. If the pedal assembly checks out fine and your shifter isnt sloppy, then, with the car off, put the tranny in 3rd. Disconnect the cables from the 2 points on the shifter base and adjust the eyes until they line up with the two pins on the shifter base and the eyes can easily be slid back onto the pins. If the pedal assembly is worn, there is absolutely no way you will ever shift right; the clutch will always drag no matter what you do and you will kill the synchros.
