Okay, So my 92 FWD Talon 2.0 L turbo insists on taking all of my time from me. I just replaced the slave and master cylinder. It was great for a few days. Then yesterday I was on the way home and my clutch was slipping. Generally that means the clutch is going? Is there anyway that it can be something other than the cluthc? I just put the clutch in 10K ago. It was a gripforce one. If i have to replace the clutch what kind of clutch should I get? Thanks guys.

Check to make sure the pedal is adjusted properly and fully engaging and disengaging. Not familiar with gripforce clutches so I can't verify the quality/life.
Clutch Adjustment

After looking, GripForce sells F1 (eBay) "racing" clutches. These have weak and low quality pressure plates. It is a very good possibility that the clutch is going out. Try the adjustments and if that does not help then invest in a quality clutch.

thats what i thought. What kind of clutches do you have in your car? I am looking at some ACT clutches. I am about to put a new long block in my car with eagle rods and stuff. Might as well find a good clutch as well. Do you have any suggestions?

The ACT 2600 all around is a fantastic clutch if you are doing a decent sized build. The new Fidanza clutches have been getting good reviews as well so it's really up to you. Both are quality products. Check with our vendors and see if they have any specials on either. They are always willing to work with you.

well in case you were wondering the question got answered for me. My clutch burnt out on me earlier today. So looks like I am buying a new clutch. Thanks for all the help.

should i get a six puck or a four puck one? I am going to use it mostly for daily driving.
