Where: Atlanta Motor Speedway, Hampton, GA

Registration: $449 for two days, $250 for one day

Track Time: Over 3.5 hours of track time per day

I would love to be stationed somewhere on the East Coast with tall the tracks over there. Hawaii is the worst place to be for a racing enthusiast.

You can pass, but on point by only. That is, unless you are in red group, which is no point by needed. As far as driving style, you really dont need to be aggressive, as it is NOT A RACE. There is no one that tries to keep you from passing, so no reason to be aggressive, as they just point you by.

If you have never tried it, I can see the misconception that it is not A FREAKIN BLAST! For guys that have done a successful track day, I am sure will account to the fact that there is nothing like it!

Ive more than looked into it, and its far from boring! If you want to pass without point-bys, get some seat time and run in red group. Aggressive driving is ok as long as its controlled and you're not a danger to yourself or others.

I must have read something else then, because it said no passing, and the only time you can get on it, is when its you and the pace car for 1 lap. Then it's back to playing follow the leader until it'# your turn again.

I am not sure what company runs a HDPE like that, as I have never heard of that sort of thing before. Was that like when you can drive a nascar?
