We have the same class here in Fort Wayne, that's why I was asking. Chicago could be a fun weekend of autocrossing against good competition. Might be able to make it next year, although I may be on R compounds by then.

Oh, trust me, there's more than enough competition for me.

I usually hang out at the Rt.66 Raceway events. It's a huge place, so they often make it pretty fast. If I do things right, I'm bouncing the tach in 2nd.

Leh Keen is a damn good driver. Drives a 997 GT3 cup car in the Rolex Cup races. They've got an evo they're building now, should be a serious monster.

What's funny is that all the TTU c5 z06 driver's got all whiney after he showed up for his first NASA event in that thing and ran the second fastest time out of anything there. I think one open wheeled car beat him that weekend.

You can totally tell he knows the track quite well, or has some of the best improvisation skills ever... But that thing is still clearly a mitten full to drive!WTF It's scary and crazy, and badasss!

Man that thing was ####ing moving. I have always wanted to ride shotgun in a road racing vehicle but I think the pucker factor might prove to much to handle.

My fiancee has never lasted more than two runs in my autox car. The problem is that she doesn't know when I'm going to be braking or turning so she gets chucked around a good bit even with the 4 points ratcheted down.

I'll be there for the AMS track day. Come look me up. It'll probably be two DSMs, 50 Evos, and a smattering of other AMS customer cars. Anybody got a video of the Autobahn north course?

We hope to have the boost cranked to 20 psi by then, after an entire summer running wastegate pressure of 10 psi.
