Alright if y'all check my recent threads they have my sputter/ miss firing with that machine gun issue that I cannot seem to figure out...

But my basic question is, when I disconnect the TPS plug is the car suppose to die or run like nothing happen?

I disconnected my tps and it idle fine nothing changed then I decided to drive it like that and ran fine but with the sputtering and missfire problem as well.

I pulled over connected the tps and it didint change a thing so I slowly disconnected it and then connected it slowly back it started hesitating to hold idle and then I figured I should try to connect it again but slithly untill it starts hesitating again and then it dies turns off, so when the connector is berly touching the tps it stalls out?

Normal or what the freak is going on

Im not sure if it is normal or not that the car dies when it is barely pluged in, but you car will always run with or without the tps because when it is absent, the computer automatically developes a false number using the other sensors outputs as an estimate of where the tps should be.

Haven't read your previous threads but it sounds like either the TPS is bad or you have a short in the connection to it. The car should idle differently with a good tps disconnected (usually it will have idle surge).

I would replace the tps and see if that fixes your issue.

Wow didn't know that at all, well that explains the tps, now it's time to go back to the drawing board!

Thanks brother:thumb:

I tested it and it turned out to be in specs, should it still be bad?
