ECU not getting any power, all fuses/relays in working, MFI relay replaced but detected somethin weird going to the relay wires, cant hear feul pump priming, no spark, no lights on dash coming from ECU, headlights, ajar, turbo timer all getting power...etc. Im hoping my ECU is still good (eprom) b/c i opened it up and everything looked to be in good condition...

And no, the car is held up by jackstands and i got jacks ready to catch it JUST IN CASE!!! LOL i dont trust those stands

1. Every DSMer should have AAA or a tow truck or a friend with a tow truck.

2. Why not just pull the ECU and bring it to him.

You know what, thats pretty funny because i was actually thinking of that today myself LOL (about AAA).

I'm not convinced its my ECU. Could be something other than that.

i COULD swap it with my friends car BUTTT no way in hell do i want to mess up his ECU as well. I need to find the problem that potentially blew my ECU before i even think about swapping them.

I couldnt find that problem, and i am a novice when it comes to automotive electrical trouble shooting. I had to give up on this one.. I dont know of anybody that could have helped me with this problem... Hopefully they will find the problem in under 2 hrs which would be $190

Yeah i know it is simple.

It ended up being a hidden aftermarket relay that previous owner (ive had this car for 1.5 weeks) wired up. It was preventing the ECU from getting power....

$230 for that mistake. goddamnit
