On a 2nd gen you will be tuning for timming, to be around 15degrees at wot, if you see your timming dip then most likely your getting knock. Most people start with everything zeroed out on the afc and work down until they get a good timming number. I have a 1st gen and with mine I log timming advance, o2 sensor, knock sum and rpm you having a 2nd gen you cant log knock. so when i do a 2nd or 3rd gear pull i log those items and go back and see what my engine is doing for ex. if I notice at 5500rpms I see some timming being pulled and 10 counts knock I will richen that rpm up some until my knock is gone and timming comes back up.

so,if the timing drops percents as your increasing in rpms, you would lean or richen that rpm frame?!?!
