Topline Head Gasket

I've got a new topline headgasket and I was wondering if I use copper gasket spray if this thing is gonna hold up to 20- 25psi with arp's or is it a junk gasket.

It will and should be fine for a little while, as long as you see no knock. The slighest bit of detonation will send that HG sailing at those boost levels.

My friend's car was running 22psi on a 16g w/ a topline gasket + copper spray. We checked it out when we had the head off recently, everything looked fine. However, as Joe said, keep that knock in check and It'll hold.

Topline, partsdinsaur.com, fel-pro (fail-pro), oem, all have taken me to +45 lbs/min. ARP headstuds saved me from blowing the head gasket even with dangerously lean maf overrun. As 6-bolt owners, we have the luxury of WIDER diameter headbolts arp or not. That means our arp headstuds take ALOT more than our 7-bolt arp'ed counterparts.

Don't push your luck now. Stick with the Mitsu belt.

just finshed my motor rebuild used topline belt ,still looks fine

Topline belts rock...they are no less durable than OEM and for 15 dollars for one.....yeah...rock a topline belt!


I ran them for years.

Topline Head Gasket is a reboxed Felpro graphite head gasket. With Arp Head Studs you can handle 25PIS of boost as long as you keep knock in check. I have done it several times.
