too much oil pressure

hey guys i just put in a new oil pump because my old onr went out . so ok i went from having like no oil pressure to having like 100psi or so the gauge said and i have like no idea what could be causing this problem so if any one has any ideas or if you know what is wrong plses let me know thanx tj

It appears you still have the balance shafts installed. So I would say the pressure relief valve is sticking.

Is the high oil pressure causing problems? What is the pressure at idle after driving around a while?
