tons of smoke, and oil everywhere

well i am selling my GST to my brother and he doesnt want or need all the mods i've done to it so im taking my gm maf and translator off and so i took it for a spin after putting the hacked maf on and it was like a rocket. it had no fuel cut unlike the gm maf. but when i slowed down to turn around i was covered by a cloud of smoke, but the car ran fine and wasnt overheating, so i drove home and popped the hood and oil was everywhere. it was getting dark so i havent even look at it much. but i'll fix her this weekend if its not too serious

there shouldnt be any pressure against my dip stick should there? it never popped out before

I was first thinking blown turbo.. but I duno how the hell the oil would spray the whole engine bay...Soo thats the onlything that comes to mind. That or maybe you didn't tighten the oil cap very well?

Hey it sounds stupid but I had that happen with my radiator cap... not fun to see your engine covered in coolant.. to have it dry up and look like a white crusty block that someone gizzed all over.

nope not venting, but i do have a idea what it might be, the oil return line has always given me problems, its tight but it leaks a little, it may have blown off, the oil is only on the front, like all over my fans, when its light i'll probably find out tis something stupid i knocked off when putting the old maf back on
but any ideas would still be welcome
