Been contemplating whether to reuse my pickup tube, or buy a new one.

The dent on the screen was from laying it on the floor with the pickup tube still on...

I'll provide pics.

Looks in good enough condition to me. Looks like it has one small hole there, but its barely bigger than the normal mesh.

I forgot to include that this strainer seen 2 motor failures. First motor: rod bolt failure/rod bearing failure. Second motor: was with a rebuilt crankshaft that spun/destroyed 1 main bearings, spun/destroyed 1 piston/rod bearing, and cracked the crankshaft in half.

Not that it matters or not.. =/

I whould buy a new one man dont risk anything especially on the inside of your motor plus a new shoudnt be that much.

If it was going on a bone stock high milage engine, I'd run it. But on my build, I'd buy a new fancy pants one.

Just get a new one. Since its already out, whats the point of re-installing the old one that your not sure about instead of getting a new one that your sure will work?
