Hey folks,

Nub here. I've noticed in the past couple of months all of the knock off parts on ebay if you search for "Eclipse Turbo" etc. Check out my initial mod list in my profile and after doing so, which next mods could I get away with buying off Ebay? I know I don't want to get my big 16g off their for example. Do you guys have experience and or any recomendations?

I'm following these two upgrade paths for your reference:

Thanks! :beatentodeath:

-3" Megan Racing Downpipe (Mine was $110 off Ebay)

-Gauges..Boost gauge if you don't already have one. Again, I bought Megan Racing. EGT, Oil Pressure...whatever. Just don't get the blinky light show A/F gauge.

-You can buy a manual boost controller off Ebay, or many people would recommend just making it yourself HomeDepot-style...I'd say get a Joe P controller though for ~45 bucks.

-High flow cat. converter, or test pipe.

-There's some decent quality O2 sensor housings on Ebay also, just gotta be careful.

-Walbro pump (Maybe..if you can find a good deal, otherwise get the kit from Importevolution or Extreme PSI, etc.)

-Short throw shifter..some people say the B&M knockoffs on Ebay are just as good as the real deal, but from my experience I wasted my money & opted for a real B&M shortly after. You can find authentic B&M short shifters on Ebay though for cheaper than you'd find elsewhere.

-Lower intercooler pipe, or a front mount intercooler with piping. There's a thread somewhere on here on Ebay FMICs and I haven't heard any negative things about the Ebay kits.

I'd look around in the classifieds too for these though.

Overall i think Ebay has been real good to the dsm community..:thumb: ..give and take sum..... I even think the B16g turbo aren't that bad....

There's a guy who wrote a review on ebay 16g's here you go:http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=230890&highlight=ebay+16g

But one must be careful :beatentodeath: when buying on ebay also...be smart and buy from powersellers or private sellers with good feedback..... So To ebay or Not to ebay....I say TO.....:thumb:
