titanium synchros

Titanium would make everything lighter weight but I don't think you would really need it. My car is making right around 600HP on the dyno and I have a TRE race trans which has double synchro 1-4 gears. He also recommended cryo treating for over 400 fp/lb of torque. I did that as well. My trans shifts great at all rpm's and levels of boost. My trans was about $4,000 by the time I did all that and LSD in front diff and speed design center diff. I would imagine this trans would be fine for most people. If you plan on racing it and/or like changing your trans fluid every 1000 miles or so straight cut gear trans is a great choice

hey, i know this question dosent belong in the newb forum but i cant post anywhere else i guess... but i need help finding titanium synchros for my 93 awd tsi vs tre or sheps double synchro ive read up a lil on tre but not shep... anyone else with any input they could give me with titanium vs. double synchro or anything else along those lines of making the best quickest smoothest shifts it would be greatly apreciated...

Get 5 grand and buy a straight cut tranny.
