Tires size for 18s?

I have a 98 Eclipse and i have purchased some 18s. Does anyone know the tire size that would fit my car and not rub? I was looking at 245/40/18 but I didnt know if they would rub or not.

About how much do those cost? I was looking at Toyo proxies that were 163 a tire and thats a bit outta my price range right now.. I am goin through school and dont have a whole lot of money to spend.

I found Kumho Ecstas for $66 a tire ill probably get those. Thanx for the help.

I got 235/40/18's on my 2g with no problems

this is about as big as you can go on the front with out any problems and 245 rear unless you want to take out the lining of your arches! if you wanted you can go lower and get 35 but might need slight calibration on your speedo what suspension have you got? and what drop is it! coilovers are good for a big set up!
