Tire Pressure Question

My car didnt come with an owners manual, and i looked over the car for a sticker to see what psi i should inflate the tires to , but no such luck. Im just wondering what most of you inflate your tires to, thanks.

The stock recommended tire pressures are 32 front and 29 rear, assuming you are running stock size tires which are 205/55-16.

The sticker is on the side of your driver's side door close to the bottom. But AWD is right, it's 32/29.

never believe the car manufacturer. They derate the tire pressure to give a more cushy feeling when driving. For tire life and performance you should use the pressure given by the tire not the car.

Most tires like around 35. Too much past tat and you will hurt performance.

29 is just way too soft.

As a side not remember the rolling over and exploding explorers. The end problem was that ford speced the tires to be run at too low of a pressure and this caused them to heat up and delaminate. Trust the tire companies for your tires the auto guys who designed this car 18 years ago didn't know half as much about tires as the tire companies do now.

I agree, the stock pressures are too low. I run 38 psi on all four tires.

My tires (Futura 2000 Radial LTE) don't list a pressure, and they just say to fill to manufacturer's specifications.

Hmm I just found that there's a lawsuit against Cooper Tire and my tire (Futura 2000 Radial LTE) is part of that class action suit. If it goes through, I get new tires ... and both rear tires are getting a little low on the tread . Ooo and it looks like they won, so I can get new tires, woohoo!
