Hey all,
I recentley purchased my 95 GSX and i guess the person who owned it before me didnt know how to wax because they got it all over the black window trim pieces, any tips on how to get this off? Its like a white stain all across it and soap and water wont really remove it. Heres a pic of the location im talking about.

thats probably just normal wear and tear on the piece...mine has it like that...it comes off eventually...

No no, I undestand about the normal wear and pealing of the pieace, im talking about actualy wax stained on it, i just that pic for a reference.

Dawn detergent does a great job of lifting embedded wax, when a detail brush won't get it out. However, I doubt that's wax. Might be time to give those rails a shot of semi-gloss paint.

in the past i've used a razor blade to lightly scrape it off then used black magic to clean it up

Defiant I'm so dissapointed, he knows that there is normal wear and tear he was just showing the location...But yea dawn will work good but make sure you don't get it on the actually metal parts of the car because it will strip the wax pretty fast and you'll just have to do it again.

Look for some stuff called "back to black" Thats what I use when I get a bit crazy with the wax.
Alot of autoparts stores have it.

Back to black works well for about a day. Use Forever Black like Wret said, its the best on the market.
