So I've been working on this car for a few years and never could get it running right after rebuilding the engine to a stroker motor. I recently found if I did ignition timing off of the cams it did not match the timing cover. After I adjusted the timing to the cover it ran a lot better. I'm still having issues getting my idle perfect so my big question is there a different timing I should be doing after making it a stroker? Also why can you not time to the cams like the stock motor? Any help would be great.

Yeah checked it 3 times every time was above 63 ohms. DSo i found the thread about setting my idle stop. And it says you can adjust it with data logger to watch flg2 and when the "I" appears it is set properly. So while trying this mine only shows a "t" do does this mean my computer isn't seeing as idling rather throttle being pressed. That would make sense on why my idle won't stay. Do So how can I test this? Is there another option I'm missing? Do on the ecu pin 6 is idle switch is that where I would check for continuity between the idle switch and there to see if it is getting signal?

Yes the ground strap is in place and the screw on throttle body is attached. So I did confuse the wires on the ecu and had 6 and 14 swapped. Do now my logger and ecu is reading idle switch as being closed. Now I have major idle surge. Tried adjusting the idle and my biss screw bottoms out before I can get my idle below 1500 RPMS. Not sure what is going on with that. Throttle cable is still loose. Ignition timing still perfect. Any ideas jump out at anybody other then operator error. Lol also would driving with the ecu pins switched cause any damage to anything?

So did a boost leak today. I have a tiny leak from the cover to the FIAV but bothing major. First starting the car I need to give it gas to keep it going because of a low idle. After warming up it starts to surge. Even after I ground the plugs to adjust the biss and set my idle. Should it surge engine those plugs are grounded? Do if I disconnect my ISC car idles good and allows me to set my idle and even stays after I restart. Do is the isc bad? I put the extra one in I had from a 91 with one off the coils reading 63ohms maybe I'll try switching back to stock one and see how it does.
