Ok now that I finally got that hesitation out of my 3rd gear between 2600 and 3400 RPM I am curious as to how I get my timing down from 25* to about 18* My O2's are around .91

My setup is a SAFC II, 550 Injectors, Big 16G, 2.5" exhaust, 2G Ported Exhaust Manifold

I was told that if my timing is between 18* and 20* that would be good and I wouldnt be loosing hp.

I think there may be some n/a tuning swirled in that. On a turbo car you'd blow her up before you'd loose horsepower but advancing the timing. peak torque usually occurs at somewhere closer to 30* btdc from what i hear. i've never lost horsepower by advancing timing unless she was knocking. You have a 1G. tune for no knock peroid. just don't be one of those: i got 30* timing and 50psi boost on my awesome tune but my air/fuel is 9:1. Do you have a logger? a wideband takes some of the guess work out of this.
