Hey, just a quick question about the tensioner tool. I put in a set of FP2's last night and I need to get the timing belt back over the cam gears. I don't have time to get the "special tool" and I've read about using the battery tie down bolt (but that's on a 1g, I have a 2g). So my question is, is the tool just a long piece of 8mm 1.25 pitch rod/bolt? Also, do you just put it in the back plugged spot (which I can't seem to find
) and turn it to take off the tension? After I get the belt back on and marks lined up, do I just turn the tension the opposite way and then measure the gap by the pulley?
Thanks for the help.
