I plan on replacing the spark plugs, wires and coilpack on my 420a. The coil is a flat pin I believe because it is a 98. I would like some recommendations on all these parts.. I have never really looked into this stuff but here is what I have found so far..

I know everyone recommends a stock coilpack, but has anyone ran an "Accel" coilpack? CIMotorsports has one for 70 bucks. They also have an MSD one for 80.
From searching google I found that Accel is a pretty reputable brand.

On to wires, I am looking for some quality wires.. Enough said there.
Same for spark plugs.

I am not looking for "added horsepower", I am looking for some quality parts here.

Links are appreciated. Also, I am looking to spend close to 120 bucks plus or minus some..

I recently went with the Autozone brand "Duralast" when I recently changed my coil. Quality is good, and it only cost $65.99. Link is here:

As for the wire set, I went with the Bosch wires for $31.99. I know there are probably better wires out there, but the quality of these for the price sounded great to me. Link is here:

For plugs, I chose the NGK G Powers (definitely not the most expensive plugs out there, but they suit my purposes just fine!). Spent a total of 12 bucks on them. Link is here:

Grand total spent for me was about 110 bucks (well, less because I had 20 bucks worth of "rewards" on my Autozone card, so it came out to be about 90). And it was convenient too, because all of it was at the same place, and the young (and I suspect Honda Civic driving) guy behind the counter was so eager to check under my DSM hood to see if I had any mods that he installed everything for me right on the spot.

I haven't personally bought any Accel parts, but I have also heard that their coil pack was good (and the price you posted looks to be pretty reasonable). If you do end up buying this, come back and let us know what you think of it?

For the convenience of saving a few bucks, getting it that very day at the store, and even having the overeager clerk put it in the car for me right in the parking lot, I have absolutely no complaints about any of the above mentioned tune-up stuff I bought.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply, I actually got a good package deal on the Accel coil+wires so I ended up buying those. I plan on picking up the set of spark plugs you recommended tomorrow. I have heard from almost every forum I have ever been on that NGK is a very good brand for plugs.. Thanks for the links and the recommendations.

And why does every one say to use a stock coil pack?

Because MSD coils have gotten a bad rap. Many people have found them to be less durable than the OE coils, and it's a known fact that they don't offer any performance gains. The MSD and OE coils have the exact same electrical characteristics.
