Time for a face lift! lots of pics

I bought this car and got it home about a month ago. And now i think its time for a face lift. let me know what you guys think

When i got the car

Here the car is under the knife about 6hrs for the install

Was working on a pickup at work an Loookie what i found Now.. if the boss would just let me have it

I think it is a HX35W.

And here is the rest of the make over

Also got a new windshield for it. I hope to get some color on it tomorrow. Its going to be all black. (im not painting the top just going to buff it) Also had a friend make all the factory decals for it in Gun Metal.

Nice car. I'm sure it will turn out nice with the new paint job. Those are some serious jack stands you got there.

Ya.. the jackstands make it easier to work on and see dents. I think anyways.
I am taking out the tail lights and taking off the rear spoiler just did not get to that today

oh and cant forget the rims

Here are a few pictures of todays progress

Here goes on a Epoxy Sealer with a Rust inhibiter.

And got the jams sprayed. Will let them sit over night so they cure good. Even cranked the heat up to 90*

And tomorrow the body will get painted, wet sanded, and cleared im thinking 2 coats and then a real good buff

Nice! I wish I had a spray booth so I could paint my Talon! Unfortunately I have to take it to a body shop and let them do it, and that gets pretty expensive.

Lookn great! very fast progession: full paint job in like a week! Also good to see your also sportn the PR FMIC kit. I wouldn't get chrome rims though

Just kidding.

All in all as of right now there is 15.5 hours in the paint job. Not to bad. That is with out buffing i think that will take about 3-4 hours.

And here it is almost done. 4 coats of Black and 4 coats of Clear coat. just have to finish up putting things in tomorrow and some detail work and about 3-5 hours of buffing and TAHDAH!

Oh no they're not chrome at all, more like flat aluminum just cleaned up real nice. I just wouldn't get the chrome was because that's too much bling for me. Nice work on the paint btw :rock:

nice i think i saw this car on c list awhile back tried getting a buddy to call on it. props on the work deff looks nice. i would do a nice gunmetal or brushed alum wheel not a chrome guy myself but its your car looks great. wanna paint my 1st gen haha

Your right this is the car of c list. and IMO it was a heck of a buy at 2,750. even though i am into it about 6,500$ now.

She is all buffed and done. ill post some pictures when i get home And gun metal........ i like i will have to check on some types thanks

Here it is all finished up. still need rims and tires though. Unfortunitly when it was up on the stands i rolled under it and found a small amount of oil coming out of the exhaust....WTF So. I either need to pull and rebuild the small 16g turbo or find another. When i get some more cash i am thinking HOLSET time
