Well, Last month i had to replace my Front Passenger side Wheel Bearing. Before i put my wheel back on i took a piece of wood (2x4) and a rubber hammer and hit my axle in to make sure it was in correct.
3 weeks later i began to hear ticking noise coming from my timing side. I put in a little bit of oil and that did not help. It is not lifter tick.
The noise only happens when i press the clutch to shift, start the car or while i have it pressed in/down. It sounds like a rapid tick and it increases with the RPMS.
Would me hitting in the axle cause the crank to move forward thus causing it to bang against the CAS? Or is it simply my TOB?
Background on Car.
1996 7 Bolt.
Professionally Rebuilt (Stock) Has 2300 Miles on Rebuild
Balance Shafts Removed.
Clutch Slave Cylinder needs replacing (Keep losing Fluid after 10 miles of Driving)
This is the Second Rebuild and i really do not want to give up on my car
