So I've search and searched and come up with nothing.

91 talon tsi no mods in the suspension

For about a month now there has been a slight tick coming from my wheel. It only happens when I'm NOT on the breaks.
Didn't really think anything of it until the other day I was going down the freeway at 65 and something locked up kicking the car sideways.

I pulled the hub apart and the ONLY thing that even lookedmlike it had a problem was what looked like it used to be a seal. The the ring that is next to the cup the cv bolts to. I spent 2 hours at shucks trying to figure out what it is with no result. Upon further inspection (on the lift at work) I put it in gear and let the tires spin. The tick sounded like it might be that little gear looking thing in the middle (I think its for the abs).

Also on the way to work today at about 45 it felt like my tires instantly went flat. Rear end got super squirly and i got to the side of the road, I had to get to work so I (don't kill me) revved it up and dumped the clutch to break it free. Still was ticking but would at least get me there.......slowly.

What could it be? I have a whole new hub assembly coming tomorrow if that doesn't fix it I have no idea. Please help

I thought about that, due to all the post I have read about xcases locking up. The drive line shill spins fine and front wheels are fine and the OTHER rear tire spins fine, it's just the one. And I put new synthetic fluid plus a limited slip additive in all the boxes. I was thinking either brakes or abs or something.

Thanks for that. I want to put redline in but I'm broke work at a lube shop and free things are nice......
